What you’ll do
- Design, implement and maintain automated E2E and API test suites with Playwright for Python (pytest)
- Report results with Allure and integrate tests into CI/CD quality gates
- Plan and run performance and load tests and analyse the results with the team
- Plan coverage from requirements and business risk; review AI-generated and self-healed tests for real meaning, not just a green run
- Manage test runs and test data across multiple environments (dev, staging, production-like)
- Investigate failures with traces and logs and work with developers on fixes
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for Python and pytest
- Allure reporting
- Performance and load testing (e.g. Locust or k6)
- Excellent understanding of testing processes and methodologies: test design, risk-based testing, regression strategy, bug lifecycle
- Experience working with multiple environments, configurations and test data
- Knowledge and daily use of AI agents for testing (e.g. Playwright MCP / Test Agents, Claude Code, Cursor)
- CI/CD experience; Git; SQL basics
